Come by Clark Memorial Library and see our new Story Walk! An Eagle Scout Project created by Margaret Bryson. Read page by page while taking a leisurely stroll in our yard!

Our current story is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff. Have fun! :)

UPCOMING! Summer Story Hour

Fridays at 10:30am from July 11th to August 1st - Summer Story Hour is starting soon! Friday mornings at 10:30am, come listen to stories, sing, and create a craft. Suitable for ages 18 months to 5 years.

Summer Reading Sign Up Begins

June 16th through June 21st - During our regular hours, come in to sign up for our 2025 Summer Reading Program! Students K-12 are eligible. Find out more information on the Summer Reading Page of our website.

June 19th - We will be closed all day on Thursday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

Summer Reading - Week One Begins!

June 22nd through June 28th - The first week of Summer Reading is upon us! Make sure you read at least 15 minutes every day to collect your reward at the end of the week! To collect special edition cards, participate in SRP Events!

SRP Event - Mini Golf at the Library

June 25th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm - Our first Summer Reading Program Event of the year is Mini Golf at the Library! We will have themed courses set up between the bookcases. We hope to see you there!

Paper Collage Adult Craft Class

June 26th at 6:30pm - Join Alex LaForce to learn how to make a wonderful paper collage picture! Sign up IS required. Come by the front desk or call us at 401-364-6100 during our regular hours to secure your spot.

Family Movie Event - Moana 2

June 27th at 3:00pm - Moana receives a call from her ancestors telling her to journey to the seas of Oceania for an adventure unlike anything she's ever encountered. What do you think Moana will face on her adventure?
Bring a covered drink and cozy blanket to watch and find out!

SRP Event - Sidewalk Chalk

July 1st at 6pm - Help us to decorate our back parking lot entirely with chalk! The goal to create a group art project and have fun doing so. If you happen to have sidewalk chalk that you'd like to bring in, please feel free to do so.

We would also like to thank John Crothers again for his generous donation of sidewalk chalk and other art supplies!

July 4th - We will be closed today in observance of Independence Day.

Book Discussion

July 8th at 7pm - Due to a scheduling conflict with the holds on The Wedding People, we cannot get the quantity of books we'd need in time for this meeting. INSTEAD, we will be discussing a myriad of different books! Please feel free to read and discuss any book of your choosing. Whether it be an old favorite that you'd like to recommend or something new you'd like to try go right ahead and do so. Take this month to catch up your To Be Read list!

Creative Threads I

Our Fiber Arts group is meeting on Tuesdays at 2 PM. Bring a project to work on. Beginners Welcome!

Lego Club

Lego Club for children of all ages. Join us a create with our very own Legos. Tuesday evenings at 6 pm. Display your creations in our children's room.

Genealogy Group

Meeting Thursdays at 3 pm! Meet with others interested in genealogy and learn where and how to find out more about your roots!

Summer Story Hour

Starting July 11th, Summer Story Hour will run on Fridays at 10:30 am until August 1st! We hope to see you there!
