Summer Reading Program 2021
The Summer Reading Program, sponsored by the Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services (OLIS), is a cooperative effort among libraries in Rhode Island to motivate children and teens to read for pleasure and to help them maintain their reading skills during the summer months.

This is a great time to get reading from the RI Book Awards Lists!
Summer Reading Program Events
For kids in grades K-4. Read 15 minutes a day and come in each week with you reading log for cool prizes, passes to local attractions and special library events.
For youth in middle and high school. Teens and Tweens read over the summer and may complete activities at the library for scratch off cards to win prizes or enter for our grand prize drawing at the Ice Cream Party.

Students entering 5th-8th grades in the Chariho School District can use this program to help complete their summer reading book reports and prepare for the 2019 Teen Book Battles and Rooster Games.
Students Entering Chariho High School may also use the Summer Reading Program to help complete their Summer Reading Studies.
